St Clement and St James

St Clement Notting Dale and St James Norlands are two inclusive churches in one parish. We welcome everyone – regardless of age, gender, background or sexuality. The parish is fantastically diverse, with pockets of great wealth within a wider picture of deprivation.

Our sister charity – The ClementJames Centre – offers an ambitious range of educational, literacy and work programmes. Our church school was recently judged Good by Ofsted. We are proud to be associated with both organisations.

The congregations are relaxed and child-friendly, and we provide Sunday schools. Services are participatory and prayerful. The Eucharist is celebrated with reverence and conviction.

Enriched by the annual cycle of seasons and festivals, the liturgy is sacramental but not stuffy.

Many feel renewed by their experience of these sacred spaces. We invite you to join us.
