Building work

A section of the roof at St Clement is currently being replaced. Substantial items of work will continue on the building until mid-November. The work is being almost entirely funded by grants – the largest being from English Heritage.

St Clement and St James school Ofsted report

Our church school was recently judged Good in all categories by Ofsted. Congratulations to Sue Hussey – the headteacher – and all the staff for the wonderful progress which has been made over the past few years. For more information, read the report.

World War 1 memorial day

To mark the 100th anniversary of the day on which Britain entered the First World War, St James’s church will be open from 9.00 am to 7.00 pm on Monday 4 August.
